About Tool Paddock
Tool Paddock is a directory of 412 AI tools and agents, with 67 use-case guides, tool stacks and side-by-side comparisons. In horse racing, the paddock is where you look the field over before you pick. That's the idea here. It is a small, independent project run by Jack Koll-Gunderson, and the sister site of Agent Yard, which has the prompts and personas.
How tools get listed
Every tool links to its own official website. Facts like "free plan", "open source", "has API" and "mobile app" are only shown when we could check them on the tool's own site or app store listing; otherwise the page says "not verified". We check outbound links and remove tools whose sites shut down or became something else.
Use-case lists
Each "Best AI for…" page is picked by hand, with a one-line reason per tool. The order is not a quality ranking.
Votes
Upvotes are real clicks from visitors, starting from zero. We don't seed them.
Money
Tool Paddock may sell a few clearly labeled sponsor spots (details). Sponsors can't buy a place in our picks, stacks or use-case lists. Right now there are no sponsors.
What we don't do
No fake reviews, no invented user counts, no "trusted by" logos. Find my tool runs in your browser with no AI calls.
